- Our Program
  
  We tailor our Early Childhood program to meet the needs of every little learner. Our teachers are committed to discovering your child’s unique talents and nurturing them in a loving, caring environment where they can confidently grow.
  Nursery is open to students turning age 3 by December 1.
  
  Pre-K is open to students turning age 4 by December 1.

- Daily Schedule
  
  Nursery & Pre-K programs are 5-day full day programs that follow the same school hours as Kindergarten through Grade 8. Doors open each day at 7:00 am for early drop-off and stay open until 5:30 pm each day.
  
  The school day includes time focused on pre-reading and writing skills, gross and fine-motor development, socialization and play, physical activity, snack, lunch, and rest time.

- Two-Way Dual Language Immersion Program
  
  Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School is a proud member of the Boston College Two-Way Immersion Network for Catholic Schools - one of only two Catholic schools in New York State to partner with the prestigious Boston College network.
  
  This September, our 50/50 English-Spanish immersion program expands into 4th grade. Moving forward, the program will grow by one grade level each year, giving our students a clear pathway to becoming fully bilingual and biliterate by 8th-grade graduation.

- Who leads your childcare program? How do you select teachers? What is their training?
  All of our teachers are certified or in the process of acquiring certification as Birth - Grade 2 educators. Nursery and Pre-K classes also benefit from the support of a caring and nurturing teacher’s aide. We are very selective in choosing highly effective, compassionate, and caring teachers to serve as part of the OLG faculty. Teachers take part in continuous professional development to ensure each child receives the best academic, social, emotional, and spiritual care possible.
- What are special features of your School?
  Early drop-off at 7:00 am and late pick-up at 5:30 pm.
  Dual-language program in grades Pre-K through 4th grade for the 2026-27 school year.
  Free breakfast, lunch and after-school snack program
- What food and snacks do you offer? How do you accommodate food allergies?
  Hot and cold lunch options are available through a partnership with Buon Apetit Caterers. Our Nurse will work with the faculty to monitor all health concerns.
- Do you have an on-site School Nurse?
  A full-time school nurse is provided by the Deer Park School District 8:00 am -3:00 pm.
- What interaction does the Early Childhood Program have with Elementary Students?
  We love bringing our school family together! Through programs like Book Buddies and Mass Buddies, our older students serve as mentors and role models of service for their younger peers. These frequent interactions build beautiful, meaningful relationships that last from year to year.

  Do you offer monthly payment plans?
  Yes. We offer a 10-month payment option through FACTS.
  
  Do you offer scholarships?
  We do not offer scholarships for Early Childhood, but we do offer reduced tuition for N-8 children who are baptized in the Catholic Church and belong to a Diocesan parish.
